Repaying a loan with Anchor
There are many reasons why you may want to repay some or all of your Anchor loan; these include but are not limited to:
- Pay down part of your loan to withdraw some of your collateral
- Pay down the entire loan to withdraw all of your collateral
- Pay down part of your loan to reduce the borrow limit, increasing the safety of your loan to avoid liquidation (you may want to do this if the value of your collateral has decreased relative to the value of your borrowed loan)
In order to make a repayment (once your wallet is connected to Anchor), navigate to the right-hand side of the screen on Anchor to see “Your borrowed assets”.
Select the asset that you wish to pay back the loan of and then navigate to the “Repay” tab.
If you wish to repay SOME of your loan, then enter the amount into the field highlighted in the image below:
If you wish to repay ALL of your loan, then use the “REPAY ALL” button. This ensures that you are left with no debt dust (a very small amount of debt that accumulated between you loading the Inverse.finance Dapp and repaying the loan). This means you can withdraw your entire collateral if you wish.
